The Family Hub dashboard
Once logged in, the first screen you see is the Family Hub, a structured dashboard that shows everything important about your child at a glance. It is divided into six panels:
| Panel | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Today's Status | Attendance status for today (Present, Absent, Late), arrival mood logged by the teacher, and any active wellness flags |
| Learning Highlights | The most recent observation or assessment note the teacher has written, with the curriculum domain it is linked to |
| Wellness Summary | Any medication administered today and current health notes on file |
| Outstanding Actions | Fee balance for the current term, shown in red if overdue |
| Upcoming Events | The next calendar item your school has published (sports day, holiday, parent-teacher meeting, etc.) |
| Recent Updates | The latest entry in your child's daily journal, the most recent meal, nap, activity, or check-out record |
No daily call needed. The Family Hub is designed so that a parent who checks it once in the morning knows their child arrived safely, how they seemed, whether any medication was given, and what is coming up next, without calling the school.

Viewing your child's daily report
Your child's teacher writes a daily report each day covering what they ate, when they slept, which activities they took part in, how they behaved, and sometimes a photo. To read it:
- From the home screen, tap your child's name or photo.
- Tap Daily Reports.
- Select today's date, or swipe back to see earlier reports.
- You will see each section the teacher filled in: Meals, Naps, Activities, Behaviour, Photos, and any Wellness notes.
You receive a notification on your phone (via SMS or WhatsApp, depending on your school's settings) when a new daily report is published. You can also log in at any time to check.
Checking attendance
- From your child's profile, tap Attendance.
- You will see a calendar view showing which days your child was Present, Absent, or Late.
- Tap any day to see the details: arrival time, any late-arrival note, and check-out time.
Viewing homework (primary schools)
- From your child's profile, tap Homework.
- You will see a list of assignments with the subject, description, due date, and submission status.
- Completed assignments are marked with a green tick. Late submissions are flagged in amber.
Seeing your child's progress and Learning Journal
- From your child's profile, tap Learning & Progress.
- For early-years children, you will see their Learning Journal, a timeline of observations, photos, and curriculum notes their teacher has written about them.
- For primary children, you will see subject-by-subject grades and any published report cards.
- Tap Download Portfolio PDF to save a copy to your device, a beautiful document you can keep.
Viewing fees and payment status
- From your child's profile, tap Fees.
- You will see the current term's fee items, amounts, and payment status for each.
- If your school uses Dedicated Virtual Accounts, your unique account number is shown here, transfer the fee amount to that number from any Nigerian bank and the payment reconciles automatically.
Your virtual account number is permanent. Once assigned, your child's DVA number does not change from term to term. You can save it in your contacts for fast payment next term.
